CouchCreative appointed to ‘super panel’

Web design, multimedia, editing and strategic marketing advice are just some of the services we will continue to provide to the Commonwealth following CouchCreative’s appointment the new Design, Production and Distribution Panel.

The breadth of our expertise has been recognised by the Commonwealth, with CouchCreative appointed to seven specialist categories on the panel. These include:

  • strategic marketing and communications advice

  • web design and development services
  • authoring services
  • editorial services
  • photography and film services
  • multimedia editing services.

The new Design, Production and Distribution Panel services 12 Commonwealth Government departments and agencies, including:

  • Australian Bureau of Statistics
  • Australian Hearing
  • Centrelink
  • Comsuper
  • Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts
  • Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs
  • Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
  • Department of Health and Ageing
  • Department of Human Services

Our inclusion on the new ‘super panel’ in so many specialist areas will allow us to maintain and further develop the exceptional creative services we provide to the Commonwealth Government.

New Senior Communication Consultant

Media, marketing and public affairs specialist (and Queanbeyan girl) Bree Winchester joined the CouchCreative team this week as our Senior Communication Consultant.

Bree began her career literally pumping out front page news for Fairfax Media. Now, 15 years on, she is a recognised authority in Canberra for all levels of marketing and communications advice.

With a unique mix of commercial and government experience, Bree’s strengths lie in direct marketing, stakeholder engagement and PR, including issues management. And she’s advised at the highest levels – including running international media strategies for Sydney Opera House, and implementing stakeholder engagement for ATO, Medicare Australia and Country Energy projects.

Bree works hard to achieve REAL results – she generated a record number of subscribers to theatre in Canberra in 2008 – and understands the complexities of marketing within a government environment.
